Terms of Service
Last updated: April 11, 2026
1. Agreement
By creating an account or installing the Recordify Chrome extension you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
Reecordly provides a screen-recording and bug-reporting tool delivered as a web application and a Chrome extension. Features, limits, and pricing may change over time; we will notify registered users by email of any material change.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for everything that happens under your account.
- You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Record anyone without their consent where local law requires it.
- Upload content that is illegal, hateful, or infringes rights.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API beyond documented limits.
- Attempt to access other users' recordings or accounts.
- Use the service to distribute malware or run phishing campaigns.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you record and upload. By uploading recordings you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and transmit them strictly so we can deliver the service to you. We do not use your recordings to train models, we do not share them with third parties, and we do not watch them.
6. Service availability
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and we are not liable for loss of data you have not backed up elsewhere. You can export your recordings at any time from the dashboard.
7. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings. We can terminate your account if you violate these terms or if we stop operating the service, in which case we will give registered users at least 30 days notice by email so they can export their data.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reecordly and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or fifty euros, whichever is greater.
9. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be announced by email to registered users.
